SPELL BEE COMPETITION

Spell Bee competition is a competition where students spell many words by the help of the origin and the meaning of the word. Spell Bee competition was held on 5th August in our school, students of class 8A, 8B, 9A participated in the competition.Spellers were energetic and many of them tried their best to pronounce and break down and spell the word out.This competition was organised by english club.The competition will be held In the near future.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS

Independence day is celebrated on 15th August in our school.It is celebrated for us to mark the Independence day..Lot of colourful programmes were organised from all the houses of our school.Apart from that the Scouts and Guides of our school marched with a tuneful bandset around the shivanahalli.The same band welcomed our honourable chief guest with pomp and gaiety.The chief guest along with revered swamijis hoisted the flag which was followed by the singing of the national anthem.Our poojya swami ji addressed the gathering with a very few words as he wanted to give more time for cultural programmes.The chief guest ended his speech with a short story.Each house showcased performances based on the colours of the flag-Saffron,White,Green,Navy blue.The spectacular show which each house performed was appreciated by each and every one.

Guides of our school performed the pyramid very courageously.The colourful programme came to an end with deliciously jalebis.In this beautiful occasion Swami Stayaviranadaji Maharaj was the guest of honour for the day,swami Mangalanathanada Ji,Swami Vishnumayanadaji and Swami Maha Arhanadaji were present graced the occasion.

INSTALLATION OF DIGITAL SCREEN - WALL HOLE

Our school inaugurated a digital screen/monitor in our primary section.which is most commonly called a Wall Hole. Wall Holes display thoughts, images, information of great people or achievers. At times it also displays some important notices or news about our school. Many things which are displayed are most of the time loved by all of us. Learning words is great fun! Yes,words are showcased and we all read it aloud. The Wall Hole is connected to our school system.

ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION

The english club organised an essay competition on 19th August 2023 , where students from 7th to 9th participated.Children were given both factual and creative essay writings. Students were so excited and wrote their essays in a very creative way.This helped children to develop vocabulary and to express their creative ideas freely.

INFORMATIONAL VISIT OF Dr.PUSHPALATHA ( Gynaecologist )

Dr. Pushpa Latha, Gynecologist, spoke to Class 9, 8 students on Adolescence and the emotional changes in boys as well as girls.

Children interacted with the doctor freely.

INTERACTION WITH BRAHMACHARI ABHIRAM SCHOLAR

On 17th August Bramachari Abhiram visited our school. Students of Class 7 welcomed them cheerfully along with Swami Mangalanathanada Ji Maharaj. He interacted with 8th and 9th students about Physics concepts. He has done Ph.D in aeronautics.
