Welcome to May Edition Of  SSVK  Newsletter

Our school has introduced a guided meditation under Swami Mangalanathananda ji’s guidance from the Month of May 2024.All. children sit in their meditative postures and follow Swamiji’s caution carefully. Revered Swamiji was present on the very first day and was kind enough to guide us. Our sincere Panams to our beloved Swamiji. 

Poem appreciation event was organised on 14th May 2024 in the girls block amphitheatre.Students of tenth grade have collected information on the poems of Robert Frost, an American poet.They had chosen famous poems of Frost like Road Not Taken,The Dust Of Snow,A Time To Walk and others.The students expressed their analysis beautifully.

Brinda mam, principals were present along with ninth grade children.

Book review session was held on 17th May 2024. The students of grade 9 were asked to read science fiction books along with other fiction books. Children were ready to review these books and they presented their reviews to our beloved Swami ji in the girls block octagon. They reviewed H.G.Wells, Oscar Wilde, Gerald Durell and Herman Melville. Poojya Swamiji appreciated their effort and suggested children to read abridged versions of classics. Children presented sketches, drawings and paintings for their reads.

Termites have a very good social community  which we should respect and learn from their unity. Students of 9th did a research on them and their community. Which they presented in front of their mound. 

Students of 9 and 10 had an opportunity to interact with a hearing impaired girl who is doing her 3rd semester engineering. This interaction helped our children to understand the difficulties faced by differently abled children and to make use of their abilities to the fullest
