Welcome to December Edition Of  SSVK  Newsletter

On 3rd december, 2023, our school students  and teachers participated in the plantation drive organised by WCG ( wildlife conservation group )  and Sneha sampada team at Wadena kere of kaleswari village in Bannerghatta. The project commons and E kere nammadu project aims to protect the local ecosystem by creating awareness among the  public. Students participated in the event with great enthusiasm and made the event successful.

 Dr. Raghvendra Bhatt, Director, NIANP, Bangalore, visited our school to interact with 8th and 9th students to inform them of different kinds of courses to be opted for when they complete Grade 10. It was an interactive session. 

On 19th December, 2023, our school organized an educational trip to Doresanipalya Forest Research Station for the Butterfly and Bee Festival 2023.  Students from class 7 A and B visited the Park to learn more about butterflies and bees and to create awareness about these beautiful creatures. Children learnt to identify different kinds of butterflies and their life cycle. 

The National Mathematics Day was organised by our school on 22nd December 2023 to mark the birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan. Children from 6th to 9th were given a task to relate Mathematics to Science, Languages, Social, Physical Education and Arts. 

Children referred books from our library and discussed with respective teachers to make their projects. On 22nd, children were allotted places to present their exhibits. It was a great learning experience for children and teachers too.

ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 29 ರಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುವೆಂಪು ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕನ್ನಡದ ಹಿರಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸ್ತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತಿ ಹಿಡಿದ ಮಹಾನ್ ಚೇತನರಾದ ಇವರ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು, ನೃತ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರು ಬರೆದ  ಸ್ಮಶಾನ ಕುರುಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಂ ಮತ್ತು ಜಲಗಾರ ನಾಟಕದ ತುಣುಕುಗಳನ್ನು  ಅದ್ಭುತವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶಾಲಾ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುವೆಂಪುರವರು ರಚಿಸಿರುವ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಕೃತಿಗಳ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪರಮಹಂಸ, ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಜೀವನ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಇವರು ಬರೆದಿದ್ದು, ಅವುಗಳ ಪರಿಚಯ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳ  ಓದುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಶಾಲಾ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವದ ಕುರಿತು, ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪತ್ರ ಬರೆದು ಕಳಿಸುವ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿರುವ 5ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು.
