Welcome to February Edition Of  SSVK  Newsletter

The school celebrated Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary on 3rd February 2024. Our poojya Swamiji Vishnumayanandaji,  Mangalanathanandaji and Swami Arhanandaji conducted Homa, followed by bhajan. All children were blessed with Pasadam.

Students of class 7 and 8 visited NKMSS Training Center, Shivanahalli, a small-scale industry to make children understand the functioning of an industry where small chips are being made. Ranu mam, Deepthi Mam, Sridhar Sir and Anand Sir accompanied the children. The manager of the industry and his staff were kind enough to share the knowledge with our children. Our children gathered a lot of information .

Our school celebrated Annual Sports Day on 8th, 9th and 10th of February 2024. The inauguration was held on the 9th morning by lighting the Jyothi or sport torch by Swami Mangalanathanandaji and Swami Mahavakyanandaji. . The Sport Meet declared open with the blowing of conch shell. There were many individual and team games like Running Race, Long Jump, Shot put, etc, and Volleyball, kho- kho, Tug of War, etc. 

The Cross Country Race was the most exciting and adventurous sport enjoyed by everyone. 

The Karate event was simply superb. 

The three day sports events ended on 10th Feb.

The school along with the devotees of Ashrama bid a Farewell to our beloved Swami Mangalanathan Naji on 10th of February, 2024. Swami Vishnumayanandaji,  Swami Bhodaswaroopanandaji (Mukund Maharaj), Swami Soukyanandaji, Swami Mahavakyanandaji and Swami Arhanandaji were present at the farewell ceremony.  Our Swamiji and all other Swamijis spoke about Shyam Maharaj and wished him all the best for his future endeavours. 

Our children and teacher shared their thoughts and the values learnt from him. He was appreciated by each and every one for  his excellent motivational speaking skills. 

The school bhajan team chanted bhajan to end the function.
