SCHOOL RE-OPENING DAY
School reopened for the classes LKG to 10th on June 3rd 2024 for the academic year 2024 - 2025. Students and teachers were very excited to come back to school after their two month’s holiday.
ENVIRONMENT DAY
The world environment day was celebrated on June 5th 2024.10th grade girls had enacted a small skit on saving our lakes and trees. And our school took a pledge to keep our school clean and plastic free.
SPELL BEE COMPETITION
9th grade and 10th grade students participated in a spell bee competition, held on 6th June 2024. This was arranged by 9th B boys. Children were asked to learn spellings from the respective text books. As this is the qualifying round the selected students will have the second round of the same competition in near future.
INTERNATIONAL NATURE JOURNALING WEEK
Our school celebrated international nature journaling week from june 3rd to june 7th. The aim of this event is to bring more awareness to the community about nature journaling and to celebrate nature connection across the globe. During International Journaling Week we will come together as a world-wide community to share our nature journal experiences. This is very crucial for oneself to observe dynamics in nature
OCEAN DAY
We celebrated World Ocean day on 8th June 2024. Students of 9B spoke about marine life and its importance.They also spoke about.How climate change and human activities are affecting the ocean and its marine life.
MANAGEMENT - PARENTS MEETING
Parents of LKG to class 10 were present in a management parents meeting on 9th of June. Professor Ragothama Rao, Chairman, SEEK Foundation, Bangalore spoke and interacted with parents about their children’s psychology. Poojya Swamiji, Swami Shivakantanandaji, Sehadri Sir and other dignitaries were present in the meeting.
DECCAN HERALD NEWSPAPER DISTRIBUTION
It’s a good news to announce that our school has decided to distribute individual copies of Deccan Herald newspaper to all children from 6th to 10th from the month of June. All children are excited to read articles. They have already started sending their drawings to the newspaper. It is a fantastic opportunity for all children to get into the habit of reading newspapers.
VIDYARTHI HOMA
Vidyarthi Homa was held on 14th June 2024 in our school to give students the blessings of Sri Sarada Devi and Shri Ramakrishna. Parents of class 9 and 10 were also part of this Homa as the school has organised Pada Puja as well. Students of grade 9 and 10 were given an opportunity to do Pada Puja to their parents and to have their blessings. Poojya Swami Girijathmananda ji, Ramkrishna Mutt, Basavangudi, was present to grace the occasion.He also chanted bhajans tunefully and children enjoyed singing along with Pujya Swamiji.
The presence of our revered Swami Vishnumayanandaji, Swami Mahavakyanandaji, Swami Maharhanadaji, Swami Shivakantanadaji made the occasion a blessed one. After the Pada Puja, the meal was served for everyone present.
INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
International yoga day was celebrated on 21st June 2024 in our school premises. All the students did yoga asanas to mark the Yoga Day, an exercise to the body and mind. Revered Swami Shivakantanandaji spoke about the significance of yoga and how it should be performed to keep our mind calm and controlled.
School yoga teachers helped children to demonstrate the asanas in a systematic way.
SAFETY WITH FIRE
On 23rd June, Mr. Dharanesh from Chiru Fire Service, Baddihalli, Tumkur, demonstrated how to use fire extinguishers to children.
EQUBE PROGRAMME
EQUBE is a Seva Programme for 10th as part of CBSE Curriculum.Enable Evolutionary Excellence is a CBSE programme conducted by Dr. Kalpana Sampath. The programme started on 25th June 2024.

Students of class 8 A and B, were asked to pick a story from their memory and to draw/ paint/ sketch the story using six panelled A4 size paper. All the children drew beautifully. Their expression of language through pictures was appreciated by everyone. These children will be asked to narrate their story to the class to assess their speaking skills.
