KANNADA RAJYOTHSAVA

Kannada Rajyothsava was celebrated in honour of the state to mark the formation of Karnataka on 1st November 2023 on the school premises.

Ashok Sir spoke about Kannada Language and about authors who really spread the language through their thought provoking writings. Children from Grade 1 to 9 entertained with their skits, songs and speeches.

QUIZ COMPETITION

Swami Shambhavanandaji Memorial, of Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalaya Old Boys’ Association, Mysore, conducted an Interschool Quiz Competition in General Knowledge at Ragi Kana, Gottigere. Tanushree of class 9 bagged First prize.

CHILDREN'S DAY AND LAB INAUGURATION

This year’s Children’s Day was celebrated along with Rotary Bangalore Midtown at the Boy’s Block Library. The Rotarians along with their President inaugurated Sri Sarada Devi Vidya Kendra’s Science and Math Laboratories. Our Swamiji along with Murali Sir and Principals were present. Swamiji spoke few words of wisdom and wished all children the best. On this joyful occasion, Class 8 boys presented a heart touching skit on Mangal Pandey. Girls enacted a dance drama to highlight Girl Education. Class 7 boys spoke about Book Reviews and Master Amith shared his feelings of the infrastructure of our school. These children were appreciated by everyone present there.

AYUSH MEDICAL KIT DISTRIBUTION

The ministry of Ayush Department, a project implemented by the Government of Karnataka, on the standards of the Indian systems of Medicines and Homeopathy. .Dr.Sujata from Ayush department visited our school on 20th November 2023 and shared some information about children’s health, lifestyle and body functioning.Then the teachers distributed tablets to students and teachers.

SWAMI PRAJNATMANANDAJI'S VISIT

Swami Prajnatmananda from Brazil Vedanta Center, Brazil visited our school and blessed or children .

SRI MANISH PRIYADARSHI'S INTERACTION WITH STUDENTS

Sri Manish Priyadarshi, ex- DIG CISF and IB, Government of India, visited our school and interacted with High School children. His words were motivating ang thought provoking.

INTERSCHOOL SPORTS EVENT

Our school students participated in an Interschool Sports Event on 28th November 2023, conducted by Karnataka School Olympics Association’s 15th State Level School Olympic Games on the eve of Kannada Rajyothsava, at Kittur Rani Chennamma Stadium, Jayanagar, Bangalore. Students from class 6 to 9 participated in Athletics like Shot Put, Relay, Long Jump, and High Jump. It was a proud moment to see the following winners winning the prizes. Rachana Reddy of class 9, secured first place under 16- shot put, Jeevika of class 6 and Deekshitha got third place under 13 High Jump. These winners got a big round of applause when they received prizes from Poojya Swamiji.

MADOO EXHIBITION

MaaDoo, a project to create the spirit of science in day to day life in the students of Government Schools, organised an exhibition of Agricultural tools and methods in the school premises. Children from class 6 to 8 participated in this interesting event. They made tools by themselves and presented their exhibits beautifully.

KANAKADASA JAYANTHI

Saint Kanakadasa Jayanthi was celebrated on 30th November 2023 on the school premises. .Students have put up a colourful show programs with singing, speeches on Saint Kanakadasa. The Kanakana Kindi play put up by our children was the high light of the day.
