A Day in the Market – Young Entrepreneurs in Action!
As a part of the Social Science curriculum, an engaging “Market Scene Activity” was conducted for Grade 7A and 7B. The objective was to provide students with a practical understanding of marketing concepts, types of markets, the role of buyers and sellers, and the importance of goods and services in daily life.
Students participated enthusiastically by setting up stalls, displaying products, interacting with their peers as customers, and applying basic marketing skills such as advertisement, pricing and negotiation. The activity created a lively marketplace atmosphere within the school premises, making the learning process fun and experiential.
This hands-on activity not only enhanced their knowledge of the chapter but also helped build confidence, communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills among students.
Overall, the “Market Scene Activity” proved to be a highly enjoyable and educational experience for all!
