“ಸಿರಿಗನ್ನಡಂ ಗೆಲ್ಲೆ - ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳ ವರದಿ”
ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರ್ಷೋಲ್ಲಾಸದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕನ್ನಡದ ಸುವಾಸನೆ ತುಂಬಿದ ಈ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಅರಳಿಸಲು ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕವನ ರಚನೆ, ಚಿತ್ರಲೇಖನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮೂಹ ಗಾನ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಕಂಗೊಳ ನೀಡಿದವು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕವನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದರು, ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಚಿತ್ರಿಸಿದರು, ಮತ್ತು ಹಾಡುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಶ್ರುತಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಸಾರಿದರು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯೂ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಪರಿಮಳದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ತುಳುಕಿತು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ, ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾಷಾ ಪ್ರೇಮವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿದವು. ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಈ ಆಚರಣೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ವೈಭವವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ನೆನಪಿಸಿದ ಹಬ್ಬವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಿತು.
ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿತು ಮತ್ತು "ಸಿರಿಗನ್ನಡಂ ಗೆಲ್ಲೆ, ಸಿರಿಕನ್ನಡಗಂ ಬಾಳೆ'' ಎಂಬ ಘೋಷವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಜೀವಂತಗೊಳಿಸಿತು.
“ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ವೈಭವ”
ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ನವೆಂಬರ್ ೧ ರಂದು ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಗಳಾದ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿಷುಮಾಯಾನಂದಜಿ, ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಮಹಾವಾಕ್ಯಾನಂದಜಿ ಮಹಾರಾಜ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಶಿವಕಾಂತನಂದಜಿ ಮಹಾರಾಜ್ ಉಪಸಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಗಳಿಂದ ನಾಡಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಕಾಯಕ್ರಮದ ಬಳಿಕ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಶಿವಕಾಂತನಂದಜಿ ಮಹಾರಾಜ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದ ಕವನ ರಚನೆ, ಚಿತ್ರಕಲೆ, ಸಮೂಹಗಾನ ಮುಂತಾದ ಸ್ಪರ್ದೆಗಳ ವಿಜೇತರಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ೫ ರಿಂದ ೧೦ ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿ ಕಾಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸೊಬಗು ತಂದರು. ಸಂಪೂಣ ಕಾಯಕ್ರಮವು ಹರ್ಷೋದ್ಗಾರದ ವಾತಾವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.
“Little hearts, big smiles – Children’s Day at our School!”
Our school celebrated Children’s Day with great joy and enthusiasm. The entire program was memorable and filled with delightful moments.
The day began with a community breakfast, where students enjoyed their meal together with their respective class teachers. This togetherness created a warm and friendly atmosphere, strengthening the bond between teachers and students.
In the afternoon, class teachers conducted various fun-filled activities for the students. These activities helped the children showcase their talents, creativity, and teamwork. The students actively participated and made the celebration lively and enjoyable.
Overall, it was a wonderful celebration that brought smiles to every child’s face and created beautiful memories for all.
Boosting Learning Through Engaging Competitions
Every day brings a new learning experience, but staying consistently motivated to learn can sometimes be a challenge. Keeping this in mind, our teachers introduced a new idea of holding a competition once every two weeks during the morning assembly. These competitions are designed not only to help students learn but also to make the process fun and engaging.
The first competition in this series was the Turn Coat Competition. Participants were expected to persuade the audience with strong arguments and logical reasoning, speaking both for and against the motion with equal conviction. The event turned out to be truly exciting. The topics, along with the enthusiastic participants, brought great energy to the competition. We witnessed some exceptional performances, making it a wholesome and memorable experience.
Two weeks later, we continued the series with the Spell Bee Competition. The focus this time was on vocabulary learned by students across various subjects in their respective grades. It was a tough battle between students of Class 7A and Class 8A, but in the end, the participants from 7A emerged as the winners.
Kanakadasa Jayanthi: A Tribute to a Saint-Poet
On the occasion of Kanakadasa Jayanthi, our school celebrated the event with respect and devotion on November 8. The program was organized to remember and honour the significant contribution of Sri Kanakadasa to Dasa Sahitya and Kannada literature.
As part of the celebration, our teacher delivered an informative and inspiring session about Kanakadasa’s life and works. Students were introduced to his deep devotion, simplicity, and his unique way of conveying spiritual messages through songs. The teacher also explained the essence of “Ramadhana Charitre,” one of his notable works, highlighting its message of devotion, moral values, and the importance of righteousness in life.
The event was meaningful and educational, reminding everyone of the timeless value of Kanakadasa’s contributions.

EFIL under Eqube project from our school
Under the Seva Project initiative of EFIL, an impactful SAP – Social Action Project is being conducted across 750 schools with the aim of nurturing socially responsible and action-oriented students. As part of this program, students are encouraged to observe real-life issues in their surroundings and design meaningful solutions for community development.
We are proud to announce that our School SAP Champs and Winners, Divya Shree and Bhavya Shree, represented our school with exceptional dedication and confidence. They presented their SAP project titled “Rural and Urban Job Creation”, focusing on bridging the employment gap between rural and urban areas. Their project highlighted innovative ideas, practical approaches, and sustainable solutions to empower individuals through skill development and job opportunities.
Their noteworthy efforts, clarity of presentation, and commitment to social change were highly appreciated by the evaluators. Their achievement stands as a testimony to our school’s continuous encouragement towards building socially aware and responsible young citizens.
We congratulate Divya Shree and Bhavya Shree for bringing laurels to our school and inspiring many others to contribute meaningfully to society.
Health Awareness Session for Class 8A and 8B
As part of the Class 8 Science syllabus chapter “Health: The Ultimate Treasure,” a special health awareness session was conducted for students of Class 8A and 8B. Dr. Sujatha, the Community Resource Person from the Karnataka State AYUSH Clinic, Ragihalli branch, facilitated the session.
Dr. Sujatha began by introducing the concept of health and emphasised the idea of balance as the foundation of Ayurveda. She discussed the benefits of healthy eating and highlighted the importance of maintaining an ideal Dincharya (daily routine) and Ritucharya (seasonal routine) for overall well-being.
The session also included an introduction to commonly used medicinal plants such as Doddapatre, Neem, and Tulsi, along with their traditional uses and health benefits. Dr. Sujatha further briefed the students on the AYUSH initiative of the Government of India, explaining its role in promoting holistic health practices.
To encourage healthy living, she distributed Kushmandaka Rasayana to the participating students and provided immunity booster kits to the teachers.
The session concluded with an engaging question-and-answer interaction, where students clarified their doubts and shared their thoughts.
Empowering Families Through Yoga and Mudras
Dr. vanishree and Bhavani both certified from art of living Pavithra project had good interaction with mothers and children. Different Asanas and mudras were also taught.
Celebrating the Spirit of the Constitution
On the occasion of Constitution Day, a special assembly was organized in our school to honor the guiding principles of our nation. The students of Class 8B took charge of the assembly and presented an informative and meaningful programme.
To begin with, a short speech was delivered highlighting the significance of the Indian Constitution and the values it upholds. This was followed by an interactive Constitution Quiz, where students enthusiastically participated by answering questions related to fundamental rights, duties, and the making of the Constitution.
The program concluded with a dignified recitation of the Preamble of the Indian Constitution, reaffirming our commitment to justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. The celebration served as a reminder of our responsibility as proud citizens of India and helped students understand the importance of our constitutional values.
Annual Day Celebration “Tales of Indian Seasons”
Sri Ramakrishna Vidya Kendra and Sri Sarada Devi Vidya Kendra, Shivanhalli, celebrated Annual Day on Saturday, 29th November 2025 with great enthusiasm and vibrant cultural spirit. The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest Sri G. S. Jayadev, Founder of Deenabandhu Trust.
The programme began at 1.30 pm with Arati and Bhajans, invoking the divine blessings of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda. This was followed by a warm Welcome Speech and a comprehensive School Annual Report, presenting the achievements of the academic year.
The respected Chief Guest was formally introduced and addressed the gathering with inspiring thoughts. The students and audience also received valuable guidance from revered monks — Swami Vishnumayanandaji and Swami Shivakanthanandaji — who shared enlightening messages.
One of the most beautiful segments of the celebration was the theme-based cultural presentation, “Tales of Indian Seasons”, along with performances showcasing our heritage and values:
● Nursery children presented an adorable programme on Food, highlighting the importance of healthy eating.
● Grade 1 & 2 students gave vibrant performances on Languages, States, and Indian History, including inspiring acts on Onake Obavva and the Vijayanagara Empire.
●Grades 3 to 5 depicted the charm of Summer, Rainy, and Spring Seasons through lively dances and skits.
● Grades 6 to 8 beautifully showcased the Autumn season, its festivals, and unique characteristics.
● Grades 9 & 10 brought alive the Winter season with graceful and expressive performances.
Each performance was filled with creativity, confidence and cultural excellence, earning huge applause from the audience.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, followed by Mangala and Prasada distribution, marking the completion of the grand celebration.
The Annual Day truly reflected the school’s commitment to holistic development — nurturing talent, discipline, culture, and moral values. The Principal, Teachers, Monks, and the Managing Committee expressed their gratitude to parents and guests for their constant support and cooperation in making the programme a memorable success.
