Welcome to October - 2025 Edition Of  SSVK  Newsletter

On the auspicious occasion of Navaratri, our school celebrated Ayudha Pooja with great devotion on 30th September. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Vishnumayanandaji Maharaj, Mahavakyanandaji Maharaj, Shivakanthanadaji Maharaj, and Arhanandaji Maharaj. 

As part of the celebration, Shivakanthanadaji Maharaj performed the Pooja to all the school buses, cars, bikes, and computers, seeking divine blessings for the smooth and safe functioning of all tools and vehicles. 

School staff members participated in the event with devotion and reverence. The program concluded with Aarati and Prasadam distribution, creating a spiritual and peaceful atmosphere in the school campus. 

The celebration highlighted the importance of showing gratitude and respect to the instruments that assist us in our daily duties. 

On the occasion of the 71st Wildlife Week, the Government of Karnataka and the Department of Forest jointly organized various competitions under the theme “ಮಾನವ ಮತು ವನ್ಯ ೕವಿ ಸಹಬಾಳೆ” (Co-existence of Humans and Wildlife). 

Students of Sri Sarada Devi Vidya Kendra actively participated in the Essay Writing and Drawing Competitions conducted as part of the event. It was a moment of great pride for our school as Raksha from Grade 9A secured the 2nd Prize in the Drawing Competition, and Kubera from Grade 10B won the 3rd Prize. 

The prizes were presented by the Honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri Siddaramaiah, during the valedictory ceremony. 

The school congratulates both the winners for their remarkable achievement and wishes them continued success in future endeavours. 

Our school organised a Parents - Teacher Meeting on October 12th, 2025. The programme began with the soulful bhajans. Revered Swami Vishnumayanandaji and Swamiji Shivakantanandaji made the event more graceful with their presence. 

The chief guest was Dr. Seetharam M R, an orthopaedic surgeon and the advisor of Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement. His knowledgeable words and interaction with the parents gave a fruitful conclusion to the event. 

Later the parents signed the report cards and the programme concluded with the distribution of prasad. 

As part of the Dussehra holiday project, students of class 5B created colorful yet informative science projects and presented them in the assembly on October 9.  

An interactive session was held with our esteemed alumna, Ms. Shathamma S, who is currently working as a researcher in the food industry. She shared her valuable insights and experiences with the students of Sri Sarada Devi Vidya Kendra School, explaining the importance of research and innovation in food technology. The session inspired students to explore career opportunities in science and research, and encouraged them to pursue their goals with dedication and curiosity.

Our students enthusiastically participated in the WWF Quiz Competition, organized to promote awareness about wildlife conservation and environmental protection. The quiz provided a valuable platform for students to enhance their knowledge about biodiversity, climate change, and sustainable living. Their active participation reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing environmentally conscious young minds. The event encouraged students to become responsible citizens who care for nature and work towards a greener planet.
