Welcome to July - 2026 Edition Of  SSVK  Newsletter

As part of the Co-Curricular Activities (CCA), Sri Sarada Devi Vidya Kendra organized the "Wonder from Waste" competition on Saturday, 27 June 2026 for students of Classes V to VII. 

The event encouraged students to transform waste and recycled materials into creative and useful products, highlighting the importance of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. The classrooms came alive with colourful displays of innovative models made from discarded items such as plastic bottles, newspapers, cardboard, old CDs, cans, and fabric scraps. 

The projects were evaluated by Dr. Asha, Teacher-in-Charge of the Media Club. The judging was based on the following criteria: 

● Creativity and originality ● Innovation ● Effective use of waste materials ● Utility and practical value ● Durability and finishing ● Environmental awareness and sustainability 

After careful evaluation, Class VII-A secured First Place with 43 marks, while Class VI-A earned Second Place with 37 marks. 

The competition inspired students to think creatively while caring for the environment. It proved that with imagination and effort, even waste materials can be transformed into wonderful creations. The event was a memorable success, promoting environmental responsibility and innovative thinking among students. 

To mark World Asteroid Day, our school conducted an exciting Inter-Class Astronomy Quiz on Saturday, 27 June 2026, bringing together enthusiastic participants from Grades VIII, IX, and X. 

Each team consisted of four students, with two participants from each section, encouraging teamwork, confidence, and healthy competition. The quiz tested students' knowledge of astronomy, space exploration, planets, stars, satellites, and other fascinating scientific facts. 

The competition featured three exciting rounds:

➔ Round 1 – General Knowledge: Questions tested the participants' understanding of astronomy and space science. 

➔ Round 2 – Fire Round: Teams answered up to 10 rapid-fire questions in just 60 seconds, where both speed and accuracy were essential. 

➔ Round 3 – Buzzer Round: The final round demanded quick thinking and fast reflexes, making it the most thrilling part of the competition. 

The contest remained closely fought throughout, with every team displaying remarkable enthusiasm and determination. After an intense battle of knowledge, Grade X emerged as the champions with 120 points. Grade IX secured Second Place with 105 points, while Grade VIII finished Third after a spirited performance. The event was both educational and entertaining, inspiring students to explore the mysteries of the universe while strengthening their scientific curiosity. Congratulations to all the winners and participants for making the competition a grand success! 

ಶೂನ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ನೀ ಡಿದ ಭಾರತ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಕಣ್ತೆರಿಸಿದ್ದು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಗೊ ತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿಚಾರ ಹೀ ಗಿರುವಾಗ ಗಣಿತದ ಬಗೆಗೆ. ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯ ಜೀ ವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಹೇಗೆ ಜೀ ವನ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಎರಡು ತಂಡಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ರಸಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಗಣಿತ ರಸಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ರ್ಥಿ ಗಳು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.

ಕುತೂಹಲ ಭರಿತ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾಗೃತರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಏಕಾಗ್ರತೆಯತ್ತ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಇಲ್ಲದ ನಿಶಬ್ದತೆಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ಉತ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೀತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಇರುವ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. 

ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಎಂಥಹ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಲು, ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಿದ್ದಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೀತಿ ಪ್ರಶಂಸನೀಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ವಿಜೇತರಾದ  ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಬಹುಮಾನ ವಿಜೇತರಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳು. 

ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ವನಮಹೋತ್ಸವ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ  ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಬೀಜಗಳ  ತಳಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡರು. ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಮುಕ್ತ ವಾತಾವರಣ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಎಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ ರೀತಿನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಶ್ಲಾಘನೀಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿವಿಧ ಬೀಜಗಳ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಹೆಸರು ಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿವರಣೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಶಿವಕಾಂತಾನಂದಾಜೀ ಮಹಾರಾಜ್ ಅವರು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆಯಾಗಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು.  

SSVK students proudly represented the school at the CBSE Sports Tournament and delivered commendable performances across various disciplines.

The Under-17 Boys Volleyball team displayed excellent teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Their outstanding efforts helped them progress to the Quarterfinals, where they put up a strong fight before concluding their campaign. 

In Kho-Kho, both the Under-14 Boys and Under-14 Girls teams performed exceptionally well and successfully qualified for the Quarterfinals. The teams continue their impressive journey and are scheduled to play their semifinal matches today, carrying the hopes and best wishes of the entire school community.

Meanwhile, on 29th July 2026, the SSVK Basketball team departed to participate in the CBSE Sports Tournament. The basketball competition begins today, and the team is all set to showcase their skills, determination, and sportsmanship on the court.

We congratulate all our student athletes for their dedication and achievements and wish our Kho-Kho and Basketball teams the very best for their upcoming matches.
